Primacy Food Village is an award-winning, family run farm shop on the outskirts of Bangor. Primacy Meats has been synonymous with quality local meat products for over 20 years & until very recently it was essentially a successful butchers shop but has now been revamped & emerged as a food village.

Our Ethos is very simple “ local produce for local people”. The business is run by the Bowman family and Stephen Bowman explains the thinking behind the business “We listen to our customers and know they demand high quality, fresh products at value-for-money prices. We have discovered that our shoppers like to select foods sourced locally & our concentration on local suppliers has paid off”.
Our aim is to always bring the best local produce to our customers, drawing on the amount of expertise gained in the past. We do not & will not sell or use imported meat.
We offer a friendly& knowledgeable staff with a modern & spacious shop interior to help give customers a unique shopping experience. Ample car parking completes the package!
A large meat counter provides a huge range of freshly made sausages, bacon, pork, chicken lamb & beef. The shop also has a bakery section, deli and greengrocers as well as a convenience section.
On the same site you will find our Coffee Shop which serves breakfast & lunches as well as a great selection of homemade scones & desserts.
